Brush Park 410-unit residential development breaks ground
DETROIT – Today, Bedrock’s City Modern residential development is officially underway, bringing 410 contemporary units to the historic Brush Park neighborhood.
7 historic homes, 43 town homes, 64 carriage homes, 36 duplettes, and 260 Flats will serve as the innovative link between Downtown and Midtown by establishing a sustainable, walkable, environment for a diverse community by 2018.
Officials say the mixed-use project just north of downtown is Detroit's largest residential neighborhood development in decades. It will include townhomes, duplexes, carriage homes and apartments.
The community is intended to be high-density and walkable and comes at a time when demand is growing for housing in and around downtown.
