Bernie Smilovitz Harvest Classic golf outing will raise funds to feed hungry kids

2013 Bernie Smilovitz Harvest Classic is September 16

It's time once again for the Bernie Smilovitz Harvest Classic. The event has raised more than 2 million meals for hungry people.

To commemorate 10 years of great golf, the Harvest Classic, presented by Epoch Hospitality Group, has joined forces with the annual Andiamo Charitable Golf Outing to generate funds for Hunger Free Summer, a campaign to raise 2 million meals for children.

The outing will be held at Tam O'Shanter Country Club in West Bloomfield September 16.

Registration starts at 8:30 am with coffee and bagels available. Shotgun start is at 10:00 a.m.

Lunch is at 11:00 am and beverages will be served on the course. Golf should wrap up around 3:30 p.m and will be followed by a cocktail reception with strolling food stations on the patio.

Sponsors for the event are still welcome to join.
