Pistons fall short in Portland against the Trail Blazers


Portland, OR – Brandon Jennings had a season-high 28 points in Portland, but it was not enough for the Pistons. Trail Blazers win it 109-103.

Damian Lillard led the way for the Trail Blazers with 25 points. Lamarcus Aldridge added 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Greg Monroe put up 19 points and had 8 rebounds for Detroit. Andre Drummund recorded 16 points and a high 16 rebounds.

The Pistons held on the entire game, with their biggest comeback in the 4th quarter, after being down by 13 points. Jennings surged the comeback with a 3-pointer, cutting the Trail Blazers lead to 10. Detroit was able to get within 4 points with just over a minute left in the game, but it was not enough.

The Trail Blazers come out on top, 109-103.

The Pistons stay on the road and head to California where they will take on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors, Tuesday at 10:30 P.M. EST.
