Michigan Baseball Hall of Fame to be erected in Lansing


LANSING, Mich. – Lansing will soon be home to the Michigan Baseball Hall of Fame.

The new monument will be at the Cooley Law School Stadium, which is home to the Lansing Lugnuts minor league baseball team.

The Michigan Baseball Hall of Fame will feature plaques mounted on 3-foot tall pillars.

A committee of Michigan baseball experts will pick the inaugural class of 10 inductees.

Candidates must either be Michigan natives or must have come to Michigan and added a positive contribution to the sport.
