Lions announce 2016 schedule

DETROIT – The Detroit Lions announced Thursday evening their 2016 schedule.

Detroit opens the season on the road against the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 11. The first home game is slated for Sept. 18 against the Tennessee Titans.

The Lions will take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16 on ESPN’s Monday Night Football. The big Thanksgiving Day Classic will be against the Minnesota Vikings.
