We put a call out for the Best Spirit Squads in Metro Detroit, and you answered loud and cheer.
We received more than 100 submissions for high school and middle school cheerleading teams, dance squads and mascots. Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out our form, share highlights from your season and send in photos and video. We'd love to receive more submissions and stories from your season, so please keep sharing!
Also, if you sent in a photo, there's a chance it did not make it through our survey system. If you'd like to send in more photos, you can email them to us at: clickondetroit@wdiv.com.
Now begins the voting portion of our search. We included 28 different schools in our poll below. Vote now in Round 1 of our competition. The Top 10 Spirit Squads will advance to the final round. We'll reset the votes and the top voter-getter in Round 2 will be named our Friday Football Frenzy Best Spirit Squad.

Throughout the voting, we'll use submissions to write stories about Spirit Squads throughout the region. Many of you sent in detailed write ups about your teams and routines. Look for more stories in the coming weeks!
