Deadline has passed: No deals for the Pistons
The Pistons are shopping everybody:
Stan Van Gundy has made a splash in both years as Pistons coach, and has been quite vocal this year about moving players. Van Gundy says everyone is available for the right price.
The Vertical reports that the Pistons are 'aggressive' in shopping Reggie Jackson. They are looking for a first round pick, young player, expiring deals in any trade.
Mike Ortiz reports the Pistons have had discussions with Portland involving Drummond for Damian Lillard. Portland turned down offer for Lillard.
Ortiz also reports the Pistons are 'seeking a ton' in return for any trade involving Drummond.
USA Today reports that NBA execs believe Reggie Jackson is staying put because of the high asking price.
ESPN reported last week that the Pistons were quietly shopping Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson. Other reports say the Pistons discussed a trade with Orlando for Jackson, and the Kings for Andre Drummond.
There's also some mysterious tweets between Drummond and Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas, which are fueling rumors of a trade to Boston.
Jake Fischer reports that Toronto offered the Pistons Jonas Valanciunas for Andre Drummond.
ESPN also reporting that a three-way trade that sends Reggie Jackson to the Knicks, Derrick Rose to the Wolves and Ricky Rubio to the Pistons has been floated.
The Vertical is also reporting that Pistons guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is also on the block.
Stan Van Gundy addressed trade rumors on Tuesday: "I'm sure, as I've said before, that every name on our roster has come up." That would include Drummond's name. "There hasn't been a serious discussion about Andre, but that doesn't mean there haven't been discussions about Andre," he said, per the Free Press. "All the rumors and stuff don't mean a damn thing," he said. "They don't. They really mean nothing."
ESPN's Marc Stein reports that Portland inquired about Andre Drummond: One league source told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne that the Portland Trail Blazers called to inquire about Drummond but quickly abandoned their interest when Detroit asked for Blazers guard C.J. McCollum in return. The Blazers, sources told Shelburne, regard McCollum as an untouchable.
Sam Amick reports the Magic have 'nothing going' on Reggie Jackson trade.
