Michigan basketball falls to Oregon, 69-68, in Sweet 16

Michigan basketball's NCAA Tournament run came to an end in heartbreaking fashion Thursday, as the Wolverines fell to the Oregon Ducks, 69-68, in the Sweet 16.

Oregon moves on to play the winner of No. 1 Kansas and No. 4 Purdue in the Elite 8.

Derrick Walton led Michigan with 20 points and eight assists. Fellow senior Zak Irvin added 19 points and eight rebounds.

The Wolverines finish the season with 26 wins and a Big Ten Tournament championship.
