DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings have recalled forward Tyler Bertuzzi from the AHL ahead of Saturday's game against the Boston Bruins.

Bertuzzi, 22, has appeared in one other game with the Red Wings this season. That was on Dec. 9 when the St. Louis Blues dished the Red Wings a 6-1 loss at Little Caesars Arena. Bertuzzi logged just more than 9 minutes of ice time that night and finished -3.

The forward has played in 16 games with the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins this season, scoring 7 goals and 7 assists.

Bertuzzi was drafted 58th overall by Detroit in the 2nd round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
