DETROIT – While the latest concept cars and vehicles may be the focus of the 2013 North American International Auto Show, bicycles can also be found at the show in Detroit.
The Lincoln Motor Company display features a bicycle that has a connection to the city of Detroit. A part of their "Lincoln Loves" series, The Madison Street bicycle was created by the Detroit Bicycle Company.

Lincoln says the bike was created using copper-plated components, a hand-crafted frame, and functional design suitable for commuting or recreation.
Toyota features its Prius X Parlee concept bicycle, which was created with sustainable materials. A part of their Toyota Prius Project, the company says the bicycle was built over the course of ten weeks with the help of renowned bike builder Parlee Cycles and Deeplocal.
For those that wish to track how fast they are travelling on the bicycle and their heart rate, the Prius X Parlee features a built-in dock for smartphones.
Finally, in the Kia exhibit, bike enthusiasts will discover the K Velo. The series of bicycles, designed by Chief Design Officer Peter Schreyer, takes a look at Kia's past in manufacturing handmade bicycle parts, all with a modern and new look.
