DETROIT – Ford showed off its latest versions of the Transit and Transit Connect Tuesday at the 2013 North American International Auto Show at Cobo Center in Detroit.

The reveal included a short video exploring the versatility of the van/wagon. From a group aiding the victims of Hurricane Sandy to drivers for Canada's postal service, the Ford Transit Connect Wagon serves as a practical, fuel-efficient and durable vehicle which has become the most important tool for many across the globe, Ford says.

Ford made it clear Tuesday that the full-sized Transit is a vital part of its vehicle lineup and will be expanded upon with several new versions including bigger engines, more body styles and even a chassis cab for ambulance company's and trucking.
