DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings alumni team has swept the Toronto Maple Leafs alumni the Alumni Showdown at Comerica Park.
The Wings won the second game in a shootout to pick up the 6-5 over the Leafs.
That victory came after a 5-4 win in the first game of the Alumni Showdown.
The Red Wings alumni roster includes legends such as Steve Yzerman and Sergei Fedorov.
The alumni games are part of the Winter Festival leading up to the Winter Classic on New Year's Day at the Big House in Ann Arbor.
