DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings alumni team has come out victorious 5-4 over the Toronto Maple Leafs alumni in the first game of the Alumni Showdown at Comerica Park.
The second game will be played at 3:30 p.m.

The Red Wings alumni roster includes legends such as Steve Yzerman and Sergei Fedorov.
The alumni games are part of the Winter Festival leading up to the Winter Classic on New Year's Day at the Big House in Ann Arbor.
