GREEN BAY, Wisc. – For the first time in a long time, the Detroit Lions were favorites heading into Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers, but they didn't disappoint.

Without Aaron Rodgers, the Lions defense had its way with Brett Hundley and the Packers offense, allowing 17 points, most of which came with the game already in-hand.

Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford, Golden Tate and Marvin Jones Jr. took care of the rest, leading a 30-point offensive output.

Stafford completed 26 of 33 passes for 361 yards and two touchdowns. Tate and Jones each had seven catches, with Tate gaining 113 yards and Jones accounting for 107 yards and two scores.

Running back Ameer Abdullah was pulled late in the game due to a second fumble in the red zone, but he led the team with 48 rushing yards on 21 carries. He also had a 4-yard touchdown run.

The Lions didn't punt in the game.

With the win, Detroit improves to 4-4 on the season, good for a second-place tie with Green Bay in the NFC North Division. Both teams trail the Minnesota Vikings by two games.

The Lions will return home Sunday to battle the winless Cleveland Browns.
