DETROIT - The Tigers will look for a series win against division rival the Cleveland Indians Sunday afternoon. First pitch is at 1:08 p.m. at Comerica Park.

The series is tied 1-1 after a 7-6 loss Saturday.

The Indians jumped out to an early lead, scoring four runs off of Tigers' ace Justin Verlander.

Detroit made it a game in the 7th inning though. Bryan Pena's sacrifice fly and Omar Infante's triple cut Cleveland's lead to two runs. Austin Jackson knocked in another for the Tigers, but that was as close as they would get in the inning.

Torii Hunter's single in the 9th brought the Tigers back within a run, but Miguel Cabrera bounced out with runners on first and second to end the game.

Final score Cleveland 7, Detroit 6.

The rubber match of this series is Sunday afternoon at 1:05 PM.

Jhonny Peralta's home run in the 3rd inning extended his hitting streak to 10 games.
