Several Tigers players have been linked to possible deals this month, as the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline approaches. The Tigers are six games behind the Cleveland Indians in the AL Central Division, so they are considered sellers at the deadline.
J.D. Martinez, Justin Wilson and Alex Avila are considered attractive trade chips, and Justin Verlander, Ian Kinsler and others have been mentioned in possible talks.
