Former Michigan wide receiver debates UM-MSU on 'Valenti Show'

DETROIT – Former Michigan Wolverines wide receiver Braylon Edwards is still defending his football team after a crushing loss to Michigan State last weekend.

Edwards appeared on 97.1 The Ticket's "Valenti Show" on Thursday with Mike Valenti - a proud Michigan State fan.

Edwards told Valenti Michigan would have won if the rain hadn't showed up. “You’re going to blame the rain for your $9 million coach?” Valenti asked.

“You still couldn't score on us,” Valenti said. “If your coach was smarter and he ran the football more. Do you know how pathetic (this is)."

Edwards also took jabs at Valenti for not being a former player.
