DETROIT – The New Year's Day game between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers on NBC's "Sunday Night Football" delivered more than one million viewers and a household rating of 38.
A 55 share helped WDIV-Local 4 win the night!
Adults 25-54 tuned into the game in high numbers, giving WDIV-Local 4 a rating of 31 and a 59 share in this key demographic.
The Lions-Packers game ranks as the highest-rated and most-viewed football game in the Detroit DMA behind only the 2016 Super Bowl.
Local 4 News at 11 also delivered strong numbers: A 10 household rating, 23 household share and reached 184,000 homes airing after the game at 12:11 a.m.
