Elizabeth Washington is a Digital News Editor and joined the team in April 2022.
Elizabeth grew up in Dearborn and graduated from Wayne State University. She has a love for media and all types of it. Before coming to WDIV Local 4, Elizabeth worked at Dearborn Music, volunteered at multiple radio stations and was a lifestyle producer at our sister station in Virginia.
She is a member of Detroit's Junior League and is a board member of the Dearborn Cable Communications Fund. Community is a big part of her life, and Elizabeth says she can't wait to help tell the stories of metro Detroiters.
When Elizabeth is not working, she likes to try out new coffee shops and check out local bands.
