Detroit rock icon shares his love for the city
We all know there is something about that โDetroit Soundโ. For instance, when you think of Hard Rock and Detroit one name that comes to mind is Alice Cooper. He then went on to say that Detroit has a concrete place in hard rock history, not just through his music as rock musicโs villain, but other entertainers like Suzi Quatro and Iggy Pop as well. Zana Cooper, a 60-year-old cancer survivor in Murrieta, California, tested positive for COVID-19 after attending a Thanksgiving dinner with her sonโs girlfriendโs family. Cooper learned the following Sunday that he tested positive. Her family started developing symptoms, and seven members tested positive, said Dr. Thomas Farley, Philadelphia's health commissioner. Harry and Ashley Neidig, of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
Trump lip-sync star Sarah Cooper gets Netflix special
LOS ANGELES Sarah Cooper, whose lip-sync parodies of President Donald Trump are an online sensation, is coming to Netflix with a variety special. Everything's Fine," starring the writer and comedian, will debut this fall, the streaming service said Wednesday. Cooper is working with heavyweight talent on the special: Maya Rudolph is the executive producer and Nastasha Lyonne ("Russian Doll") is directing. The show will include vignettes dealing with issues of politics, race, gender, class, and other light subjects, Netflix said, with guest performers taking part in short interviews, sketches and more shenanigans.In her early Trump satiric video, How to Medical, an expressive Cooper silently mouthed along to the president's musings about the possibilities of sunlight and disinfectant as coronavirus antidotes. Here are some of the highlights of the 1900 Olympics in Paris. And many of the athletes at the 1900 Paris Games had no idea they even competed at the Olympics. Coopers victory wasnt exactly a surprise, even though the Olympic tournament was played on clay. The Paris Games began on May 14 and finally ended on Oct. 28. GOLDEN CHILDThe youngest Olympic champion may have competed in the rowing event at the Paris Games, but no one is really sure.

Impeachment witness: Ukrainians asked about holdup of aid
As the aid was being blocked this summer, Ukraine officials began quietly asking the State Department about the hold-up. Allies of the president say Trump did nothing wrong because the Ukrainians never knew the aid was being delayed. Eventually, the White House released its hold and the funds were sent to the ally. Cooper said she and other aides were asking questions about what legal authority the White House had to halt congressionally approved aid for Ukraine. Cooper described the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, saying it involved a range of items such as night vision goggles, vehicles, sniper rifles and medical equipment.
Boy, 5, Gets Wish to Be Target Employee for His Birthday
A 5-year-old had his birthday celebration at his favorite place Target. Cooper has always loved going to Target with his mom, Hannah Rickman, and so when she asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he said he wanted to work at Target.My mind started racing. She reached out to to her local Target in Rossford, Ohio, and they said theyd work it out. On the day of his Aug. 5 birthday, Cooper got to scan products with a scan gun and push around a stock cart. They decorated a corner of the store with balloons, a 'Happy Birthday Cooper' banner, Rickman said.

As it turns out, Cooper submitted a urine sample for the drug test that belonged to his pregnant girlfriend. To rewind, after finishing out his time at Ohio University in 2013, Cooper started a career in Europe, eventually being granted citizenship in Bosnia-Herzegovina in 2014. It was an interesting twist since Cooper left the Bosnia-Herzegovina national team in 2015, but he obviously was looking to get back on that team.

Voice box surgery helps 2-year-old born without larynx or airway
At 2 years old, her son's beaten the odds again, this time as the recipient of the world's first successful total voice box reconstruction. Doctors at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, performed the procedure in February, the hospital said in a statement. Because of the condition, he was born without a larynx or an airway, said Kilburn, of Adamsville, Tennessee. "We planned for this surgery from day one of Cooper's life," Dr. Jerome Thompson, an otolaryngologist who treated Cooper, said in a statement. They built Cooper's voice box using two of his ribs, according to the hospital.
