Digital World Acquisition Corp. said in a filing Friday that Trump Media and Technology Group received a subpoena from the grand jury in Manhattan on Thursday. The Trump firm also received a subpoena from the Securities and Exchange Commission regarding a civil probe on Monday, DWAC said. The Justice Department and the SEC, which regulates the stock market, are investigating the deal between DWAC and Trump Media. By merging with DWAC, a so-called special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, Trump's firm would gain access to potentially billions of dollars on public equities markets.

NEWBERRY, MI – The Michigan Department of Transportation is set to begin a $7.9 million project to resurface one of the state’s most scenic highways. The project covers 10 miles of U.S. 2 from the Cut River to Worth Road and from Wildwood Lane to Brevort Lake Road. The highway serves as the main route to the Western Upper Peninsula and runs along Lake Michigan. The entire U.S. 2 project will improve the driving surface of the road and extend the life of the roadway, according to MDOT. Drivers should expect lane closures with alternating traffic maintained by traffic regulators.
