McConnell, Pelosi homes vandalized after $2,000 relief fails

The vandalism was reported around 2 a.m. Friday, a police statement said, and a special investigations unit is trying to determine who did it. On New Year's Day, Senate Republicans refused to allow debate over a bill to increase the amount of COVID-19 relief. The increase, supported by President Donald Trump, passed the Democratic-led House but was blocked by McConnell.
Vandals target murder victimโs gravestone in Gibraltar
GIBRALTAR, Mich. โ A family is searching for answers after a womanโs final resting place was damaged by vandals last week. It means the world because thatโs our love, thatโs our sister,โ said Smallโs sister, Tiffany Small. Her grave site with her keepsakes -- ceramic angels and dolphins -- in Gibraltar has been the familyโs gathering place. The family received a text from Chelsea Smallโs mother from the cemetery that her memorial had been stripped clean of everything. โWho would be so low to go and take from a grave?โ Montes said.
Teens facing felony charges after trashing Eastpointe church, police say
EASTPOINTE, Mich. โ A church in Eastpointe is in need of major repair work, and three teenagers are facing felony charges in connection with the vandalism. Two of the charged teens are just 13 years old. Lt. Dave Ernatt, with Eastpointe Police, said that from there, the teens ransacked the kitchen and knocked over some boxes of food. Two 13 year old teens were arrested at the scene. โBreaking and entering of a building to commit a crime and commit damage, thatโs a felony charge."
