ALLEN PARK, Mich. – The southbound lanes of Southfield Freeway have reopened at I-94 after being closed due to a vehicle fire, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced.

The freeway was closed for about an hour and reopened around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.
