REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 30-year-old man died Tuesday after being involved in a crash on westbound I-96 in Redford Township.
Police said he was driving a Chevrolet Malibu that hit another vehicle on the interstate between Telegraph and Beech Daly roads.
While there was little damage to both vehicles, Michigan State Police troopers said the man was not breathing when they arrived. He was rushed to a hospital where he later died.
Police are investigating this crash.
The westbound lanes of the interstate were closed for about an hour Tuesday evening.
