HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Eastbound I-94 is closed at Metropolitan Parkway following an accident just after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office says three vehicles were involved.

One man is dead after the crash that happened in Harrison Township.
According to preliminary reports, the man was attempting to merge onto eastbound I-94 from the Metropolitan Parkway ramp.
He crossed over all three lanes of traffic and struck another vehicle before hitting the center median.
His car was then struck by a third vehicle. The two other drivers involved were not injured.
Traffic is being diverted onto Metropolitan Parkway.
