DETROIT – A stretch of Northbound I-75 in Midtown Detroit will have two lanes blocked this weekend for construction.
The Michigan Department of Transportation said two lanes of I-75 will be blocked between Canfield and I-94. The project began at 7 p.m. Friday, and the closures are expected to last until 5 a.m. Monday.

Two lanes will be blocked, leaving one lane open for the weekend traffic.
Officials are working on a resurfacing project what will take place over four additional weekends during the summer. The dates will be announced when they are scheduled, MDOT said.
