Ghislaine Maxwell sentenced to 20 years

Socialite Ghislaine Maxwell has just been sentenced on sex trafficking charges. The judge gave her 20 years in prison. Prosecutors were asking for 30 to 55, while her defense argued for just five. Maxwell was convicted for her role in helping the late Jeffrey Epstein sexually abuse underage girls. In court, Maxwell said the greatest regret of her life was meeting Jeffrey Epstein, calling him a manipulative, cunning, and controlling man. She denies abusing anyone. Epstein killed himself in jail.
