Wayne County residents voice frustrations during town hall after going days without power
The Michigan Public Service Commission is the entity responsible for overseeing Michigan’s utilities. While it doesn’t run DTE, it does determine whether they can get rate hikes. After the utility’s performance after recent storms, the MPSC got out of Lansing and went on the road for town hall meetings to hear how customers have been affected. They got an earful from people furious with the DTE’s performance.
