Metro Detroit weather brief, May 21, 2020, noon update

The day ahead will be a quiet one, but some of us will get more sunshine than others. The farther south you are, the more clouds you'll see and, the farther north you are, the more sun you'll see. Like yesterday, temperatures will vary across the area, with an east wind near 10 mph keeping things in the low to mid 60s near Lakes Erie, St. Clair and Huron, and with cooler temps also in the South Zone where there will be more clouds. But farther inland and where there's more sun, highs could approach 70 degrees! Warmer air headed this way will stick around all the way through next week...but at a cost. You'll see why on my ten-day forecast in the app.
