Tuesday temps in the 70s after AM rain

DETROIT – Showers and thunderstorms are showing up on 4 Live Radar Tuesday morning.

The lightning detector is tracking four hundred to six hundred lightning strikes around and west of Lansing. As they inch eastward, showers are possible north of I-94 between 10 a.m. and noon.

The rain is ahead of warmer air for the afternoon.  Highs will be near 75 degrees with a southerly wind.

Wednesday will be warmer with highs in the middle and upper 70s. More sunshine is on the way Thursday and Friday, but it will be mild rather than warm.  Daytime temps will be near 70.
