Tuesday temps in the 70s after AM rain

Weather radios available at ABC Warehouse

DETROIT – Showers and thunderstorms are showing up on 4 Live Radar Tuesday morning.

The lightning detector is tracking four hundred to six hundred lightning strikes around and west of Lansing. As they inch eastward, showers are possible north of I-94 between 10 a.m. and noon.

The rain is ahead of warmer air for the afternoon.  Highs will be near 75 degrees with a southerly wind.

Warm weather and spring showers set the perfect stage for Detroiters to meet Local 4Casters Chuck Gaidica and Andrew Humphrey for a discount on NOAA Weather Radios. The WDIV weathercasters will be at the ABC Warehouse in Novi to highlight the special deal on the devices. Andrew will be on Local 4 News at Noon and Chuck on Local 4 News at 4, 5 and 6. They can be lifesavers.

Tuesday night will be another great one for baseball.

The Tigers tangle with the Twins starting with the first pitch at 7:08pm.

Wednesday will be warmer with highs in the middle and upper 70s. More sunshine is on the way Thursday and Friday, but it will be mild rather than warm.  Daytime temps will be near 70.
