Partly cloudy, chance of rain Wednesday

Thursday best bet for rain

DETROIT – Another beautiful day across Southeast Michigan and Southern Ontario with a nice break in the clouds from time to time through the afternoon.

Highs will get into the low 70s and the dry and comfortable air is keeping the rain away for now.

There's a chance for a few showers later on tonight past sunset and probably closer to midnight. It will be another great night for Tigers baseball in Detroit this evening.

Rain chances for Thursday have been reduced but not completely removed from the forecast. So, expect partly sunny skies with a chance for a few rain and/or thundershowers by late afternoon or evening. The computer models are not showing a lot of confidence so do not cancel any of your outdoor plans.

It will be a dry day with isolated showers closer to dinner time. Friday looks to be dry too with highs near 70 degrees again.

This gorgeous stretch of weather continues into the weekend and we will start to warm up.

Expect mid to upper 70s building from Saturday into Sunday. Once again, the computer models are not yet in agreement on whether we will see showers and storms rolling through here Sunday afternoon or Sunday night so for now we are keeping both days dry.

We will let you know if there is any change because we know it could impact your weekend plans.
