Afternoon rain showers moving in across metro Detroit

DETROIT – A few areas of drizzle and light rain are moving through Metro Detroit this Thursday afternoon, but most of us are dry once again. Under cloudy skies, temperatures will still hover around 70 degrees and conditions look great for The Tiger's Game today. So, the rest of the day will be mostly cloudy and dry other than a few sprinkles.

Friday will be partly sunny with lows in the mid to upper 50s and highs around 70 degrees once again. Rain is still falling elsewhere and we could use a nice soaking for the grass and garden. Expect a slow warm up into the weekend with mid 70s on Saturday with partly to mostly sunny skies.

Sunday is warm again with storms on the way. It looks like we will see dry conditions with mid to upper 70s during the early afternoon. The skies will begin to darken by mid to late afternoon with approaching wet weather. Although we could use the rain, we hope the rain holds off until the evening because it is the weekend loaded with great events around our area. But, be prepared for rain and/or thundershowers possibly moving in by late afternoon.
