Mother nature brings back the 'brrrrrrrrr'

DETROIT – We are struggling to warm up but the sun is helping to remove the dusting of snow from your yard. Now, we have leaves all over the place due to wind and cold air. We should hit the mid 30s today with the cool breezes NW 10-17 mph. So, it will feel five to 10 degrees cooler all afternoon with lake enhanced clouds coming and going. Heavy pockets of lake effect snow will greet you in parts of Southern Ontario, The Traverse City Area, and SW Lower Michigan into Northern Indiana.

It's going to be another chilly start tomorrow morning in the 20s and afternoon highs are on a slow rise all week. Expect more sunshine and highs in the upper 30s. Some neighborhoods will see 40 degrees Wednesday but again with the wind, it's going to feel chilly all day. Wind will be shifting from NW to SW 10-17 mph again.

We will eventually see temps hit 50 degrees again by the weekend but we will see some rain as we warm up as well. Grab the latest radar images, neighborhood temps, and a look at your chilly forecast on the new ClickOnDetroit app (it's free!) in your app store.
