Brief relief from winds and extreme cold
Highs will get into the low 40s
Clouds greet us early Tuesday morning and that has helped temps from dropping too low.
We are seeing mostly low and middle 30s with wind chills in the mid 20s as winds continue to flop around a bit from WNW 5-15 mph.
Winds will be tame today and the skies begin to clear out this morning and afternoon.
Still, highs will only get into the low 40s feeling chilly with a light breeze. Average highs are in the upper 40s for mid to late November.
We will warm into the upper 40s Wednesday afternoon as sunshine mixes with a few clouds and this looks like the pick day of the week.
Winds may kick up from time to time SSE 7-12 mph so you'll need the light jacket.
Another storm will push through Thursday and Friday with a couple of rounds of rain.
The first one on Thursday will bring light rain showers as temps reach the upper 40s close to 50 degrees in some neighborhoods.
Later on Friday as temps cool, we may see some wintry mix to end the work and school week.
But, Friday looks like the wettest day the rest of the week.
That sets up a sharp drop in temps into this weekend.
We will only see the 20s and 30s Saturday and Sunday ahead. And, we'll likely see a few light snow showers on Saturday.
