Light snow could make for tricky travels
Few pockets of snow Wednesday morning
DETROIT – Light snow showers around this morning are again making the commute more difficult.
There may be a few pockets of more moderate snow laying down another covering of fresh morning snow.
But, it will not be a snowy day.
The white stuff moves out and we will partly to mostly cloudy by late morning into the afternoon.
Highs will be near 30 degrees with the help of a slightly warming breeze SW 7-15 mph.
And, another weather maker will be moving in here Thursday and Friday bringing rain and snow to the Great Lakes Region.
Right now, it looks like light rain or a wintry mix starting Thursday morning followed by light rain showers tomorrow afternoon.
The rain/snow line will be parked over SE Michigan on Friday.
It may be all snow north of M 59 or I-69 with a wintry mix still into some of our northern counties.
Most of us in Metro Detroit will see rain showers Friday.
With enough rain and temps warming to near 40 degrees to end the work and school week, we will start to see our snow melt away.
Have no fear! It looks like more snow is coming back Sunday and a bit more for Christmas next week. Stay tuned for that.
