Wind chilly Wednesday with snow showers

Dangerous wind chills near -15 to -20 degrees

DETROIT – Another wind chilly start this Wednesday morning with scattered snow showers on the way for later today. Morning lows are -5 to -10 degrees with dangerous wind chills near -15 to -20 degrees.

The wind is not real strong and that is why we won't see a wind chill advisory.

Still, it is nothing to mess with and the chill is sticking around for a while!

Snow will move in around or just after noon. Highs in the mid teens with winds SW 5-10 mph this afternoon.

We will likely only see about an inch of fresh snow, but it will be problematic for this evening's commute.

Cold air continues all week long. A few snow showers tomorrow and only slightly warmer.

Lows Thursday just above zero and highs in the mid to upper teens with scattered, light snow showers.

Friday will be brutal! Winds will be cranking 20-30 mph making wind chills around -20 to -35 degrees as we end the work and school week.

The warmest day ahead is Saturday in the 20s, but it will come with shovel able snow.

Snow may begin late Friday but it's more of a Saturday morning event.

Very early, the computer models are hinting at maybe 2-3" of fresh snow Saturday.
