Becoming cold, clearer Saturday night for Detroit area
Lows in the low 20s
DETROIT – Saturday night will have clearing skies and temperatures will fall below freezing. Overnight lows will be in the low 20s, but it will be dry so refreezing will only be an isolated issue.
Sunday will be cooler than average but relatively comfortable. Skies will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 40s. Detroit's average high temperature is in the low 50s.
The Detroit's Tigers' Opening Day, Monday, will be magnificent. Morning lows will be near freezing for early-risers and tailgaters. The day will be filled with blue skies for enthusiastic baseball fans who will find their Tigers jackets, sweatshirts and hats useful in the beginning. The temperature during the first pitch will be in the low and middle 40s. Afternoon temps during the final out against the Kansas City Royals will be in the middle 50s.
Breezy, spring-like weather exists on Tuesday with highs near 50. Clouds return with showers and chillier conditions and highs in the 40s Wednesday and Thursday.
