More wet weather Wednesday

Highs in mid to upper 60s

DETROIT – We had a number of severe storms Tuesday Evening north and northwest of Detroit, mainly in Oakland County. But, there is no longer a threat for strong storms. That being said, we will see a few spotty thundershowers later this afternoon.

This morning is partly to mostly cloudy and mild with a few areas of drizzle and some standing water on the roads during the morning commute.

Expect partly sunny skies with highs in the mid to maybe upper 60s this afternoon. Rain chances will redevelop later this afternoon after a dry period through most of the morning and early afternoon. Winds ESE 7-12 mph.

  Our wet week will continue Thursday and Friday and the rounds of rain later in the week will be coupled with slightly cooler temps.

There will be periods of steady, light rain on Thursday with highs in the upper 50s.

Your Friday includes spotty, lighter showers to end the week staying in the mid 40s to upper 50s.

We will have mild temperatures and lingering light rain showers to start your weekend drying out by Saturday evening and Sunday.
