Stubborn clouds remain, rain likely Saturday

Highs in the upper 50s

DETROIT – Saturday morning remains damp in places and chilly with temperatures in the middle and upper 40s. Avid runners and golfers will need a slicker to remain dry.

The same low pressure system we discussed last weekend will hang around the rest of the day. Saturday afternoon will be mainly gray outside the 2014 School Expo at Oakland Mall. Outside, it will be cool with scattered showers and highs in the upper 50s.

Saturday evening will have scattered rain with temps in the middle 50s.

Anyone with Saturday night outings will need to navigate cautiously on wet roads with more persistent raindrops. Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s.

Clouds will begin to break apart Sunday. However, it remains 5 to 10 degrees cooler than average. Daytime temperatures will be in the middle and upper 50s. Jackets will be required for little league games.

Mostly sunny skies will return Monday and Tuesday, but it will still feel like fall. Highs will be in the upper 50s.
