DETROIT – Sunday afternoon will be windy and cool with highs near 60 degrees. A west wind will blow at 10 to 20 mph with gusts near 25 mph or more. Wind-breakers will remain a necessity for parents watching their children play little league or for anyone with outdoor chores.
Boaters going out on lakes big or small will be met with rocky conditions. Waves will be 2 to 5 feet. Life jackets are always a must, especially with water temperatures in the 40s.
Sunday evening will be chilly with temperatures near 50 degrees and fair skies.
Sunday night will be fair and chilly with lows near 40 degrees in Detroit and in the upper 30s in the suburbs.
Students can enjoy outdoor recess with mostly sunny skies Monday and Tuesday and highs near 60 or a bit more. Wednesday will be partly sunny and milder with temperatures in the middle 60s; close to averages. Showers and storms are possible late Wednesday and into Thursday and Friday. Higher temps in the 70s are due by the end of the work-week, too.
