DETROIT – It becomes colder, again, after midnight with lows near 40 in Detroit and in the 30s in the suburbs. It is a good idea for pet owners to keep their furry family members indoors.

Sunday will be sunnier and milder. Detroiters may still need their jackets during outdoor little league games and while boating. Afternoon temperatures will be in the low 60s.

Monday and Tuesday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures continuing to increase. Mornings and nights will be chilly with lows in the 40s. Daytime highs will be in the low and middle 60s.

Just when temperatures get back to "normal" (near 70 or in the low 70s), the chance of showers returns Wednesday and Thursday.
