Cloudy with spotty showers Wednesday

Highs in the mid 70s

DETROIT – Spotty showers and cloud cover will be the story on this Wednesday morning as we watch a stationary front lingering near the Ohio and Indiana borders. That frontal boundary is the cause for the gloomy skies, but it will sag further south as the afternoon goes along.

Expect at least a chance for a light shower lingering into the lunch hour and then drying out.

Highs today will be slightly cooler behind the front in the low to middle 70s with winds NE 5-10 mph.
We will battle some cloud cover early in the day Thursday and then afternoon sun will boost temps into the mid and hopefully upper 70s.

Sunshine will be more abundant Friday and through most of the weekend.
