Decent weather with partly cloudy skies Thursday

Lows are starting off in the 50s to low 60s

DETROIT – We hope you had a good sleep as weather conditions are a bit cooler and less humid.

There are a few spots seeing patchy fog early today, but mainly in the outlying suburbs.

Lows are starting off in the 50s to low 60s this Thursday morning.

We are looking at another decent day with partly cloudy skies filling to mostly cloudy at times with highs in the upper 70s.

If we get enough afternoon sunshine, we may hit 80 degrees but most of us likely stay in the 70s.

High pressure is trying to fend off showers to our west and south, but a few widely scattered showers will blow through later this afternoon.

Again, most of us stay dry with very little concern.

Friday looks mainly dry, with a very similar weather pattern setting up.

A comfortable sleeping night ahead with afternoon  clouds trying to drop a few isolated showers.

With enough afternoon sun Friday, temps will try to climb into the low 80s to end the work week.

Saturday and Sunday will be warmer with increasing rain chances.

For now, models keep us dry Saturday and a bit stormy Sunday. We'll keep you updated as we get closer.
