Monday morning feels like fall

Strong cold front has moved through the Detroit area

DETROIT – A strong cold front has moved through the Detroit area which was the spark for the severe weather on Sunday.

On the back side of the front, conditions will feel more fall like today.

Monday will be a cool start in the mid 50s with cloudy skies most of the day.

A few showers lingering on the east side will pull further east throughout the morning, but morning pockets of rain are possible.

The breezes will be increasing throughout the day with winds NNW 10-20 mph gusting even higher and with cloudy skies, highs only hit 70 degrees today.

A few chances for brief clearing may bring a few neighborhoods into the low 70s, but most of the day will be in the upper 60s with cool breezes.

More cool air pools in for Tuesday with morning lows in the 40s and low to mid 50s tomorrow.

More clouds and rain chances appear into the late morning and afternoon tomorrow with highs in the low to maybe mid 70s.
