Nice weather on tap for Thursday

DETROIT – Morning lows are well into the 50s already making things mighty comfortable to start your Thursday.

We're seeing the cool down even with a bit of cloud cover or insolation around SE Lower Michigan.

This afternoon will be gorgeous with highs only in the mid to maybe some upper 70s.

Sunshine with a few clouds will fill our skies with low humidity and light winds NNE 5-10 mph.

The good news for tomorrow is that scattered rain and thundershowers will likely stay just to our west Friday morning. Some of our west/northwest counties may get a wet glancing blow early in the day.

The Thumb region has a better chance at shower activity through the late morning and possibly again in the late afternoon. It may warm up back into the low 80s with enough midday sun… otherwise upper 70s to near 80° Friday.

Unfortunately, we're still tracking spotty rain and thundershowers during parts of your Labor Day Weekend.

Right now, it looks like Saturday night and early Sunday could be the wettest part of the weekend ahead. We will have the feel of a summery Holiday Weekend as temps will hit upper 70s to mid 80s Friday through Monday. Get your complete 7 Day forecast on clickondetroit.com and on the Weather links:
