Warm, dry Friday ahead

Highs in the mid to upper 70s

DETROIT – More sunshine will pour in through the late morning and afternoon. Highs will hit the mid to maybe upper 70s in a few suburbs. East winds 5-10 m.p.h. will keep things a degree or two cooler on the east side closer to the big lakes.

With tons of sun this weekend, we will be flirting with near 80 degree readings Saturday and Sunday.

Patchy morning fog will also linger for the next few mornings. Cloud cover may increase a bit Sunday knocking temps down slightly.

Dry weather all weekend is great news for football games, and the area JDRF Walks on Sunday. I'll see you in Warren at the GM Tech Center Sunday at 8:30 am. We are walking for a cure for Type One Diabetes.
