DETROIT – Rain moves into the area Monday evening -- probably beginning in our western suburbs between 7:00 and 8:00 PM and moving eastward across the area.
Wet snow should mix with the rain tonight, but don't worry about accumulation, as temps should remain above freezing. Lows around 33 degrees, with southwest wind shifting to the northwest late tonight at 5 to 10 mph.
Cloudy with scattered light snow showers on Tuesday. Highs in the mid 30s. Snow showers diminish Tuesday night (excpet for those of you immediately downwind of Lake Huron). Lows in the mid 20s.
Partly cloudy for most of us on Wednesday, with the chance for a few lingering light snow showers Wednesday morning in the Thumb. Highs in the mid 30s. Partly cloudy Wednesday night, with lows in the mid 20s.
Then get ready for a spectacular stretch of winter weather, with mostly sunny skies Thursday through Sunday, with highs Thursday in the mid 30s, rising to near 40 on Friday, and into the low to mid 40s this weekend!
