DETROIT – Sunshine will be a part of our day, especially into the mid and late afternoon.
It's going to take us a while to get there as we battle lake effect cloud production early.
Highs only climb into the mid 30s today with those continued breezes. We may see a few snowflakes but mainly closer to the big lakes.
Thursday will be very similar to today with a bit more sunshine tomorrow and still breezy.
The skies will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the mid and maybe upper 30s as winds still pump from the cooler region NW 10-20 mph.
Wind chills both today and tomorrow will be in the upper teens to low 20s.
Friday into the weekend looks very mild and warmer by the day.
Friday will struggle to hit 40 degrees with dry conditions and that will be the trend moving forward. We may land near 50 degrees on Sunday.
