Cold, light winds Friday in metro Detroit

Highs in the upper 30s

DETROIT – Like Thursday, we will see high temps in the upper 30s with lighter winds WNW 5-11 m.p.h.

Cloud cover will come and go as we battle the outer fringe of a stalled storm out east.

We will see low 40s Saturday and may land near 50 degrees on Sunday. Most of your weekend is dry, but models hint at a few flurries on Saturday morning and a few areas of drizzle on Sunday morning.

Clouds will be a bit more plentiful towards the end of the weekend but we should hold off any serious wet weather until early next week. The big weather story will be the continued warm up. We will be flirting with 50 degrees Sunday and Monday before cooling off with rain and snow on Tuesday.
