More snow in the forecast for Wednesday

Threat of a mess morning drive

DETROIT – A very familiar set up early Wednesday morning as another clipper brings snow during the morning commute.

The difference today, is that snow will linger longer into the afternoon and maybe early evening.

Still, we are not talking about a big snow. Wednesday will bring another 1-2" of snow which should be a little more widespread over the area.

There may be a few areas seeing slightly more snow but not much. Temps will hover in the upper 20s with winds NE 5-10 mph.

We will launch our Local 4 Car Cast today as the morning drive could be problematic.

So, download the clickondetroit app and we will walk you step by step, minute by minute through the drive into work.

Thursday and Friday will be dry with temps warming up towards the end of the work and school week.

We will be cool tomorrow in the upper 20s with partly sunny skies.

But Friday will be in the mid 30s and calm setting up a nice weekend.

There are a few snow makers moving in and around the Great Lakes this weekend but for now, most will be near misses.

There is a chance for a few light snow showers or flurries late Saturday and early Sunday.
